More than 340 Victorian companies are benefiting from business opportunities arising from construction work on Games projects. Companies like Bowens Timber are supplying materials, undertaking construction work or providing professional services to help Victoria get ready for the Games. Bowens Timber delivered every piece of timber for the Athletes Village in more than 1,000 truck loads. With 3-4 deliveries each day for the last 7 months, Bowens Timberbuilt 40km of wall frames in their factory as well as delivering 20km of flooring and 200 rooves. Bowens Timber are proud to be associated with the Commonwealth Games.
