Jolimont Station

Jolimont Station is one of the key public transport gateways to the MCG, with thousands of people passing through it each week. In anticipation of the Games, Jolimont has been upgraded to improve access for commuters.

The upgrade includes:

- A new ramp on the northern platform, in compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act;

- Widening both platforms at the western end; and

- Improving access to the southern platform.

These improvements focus on making it easier and safer for people - particularly those with a disability - to get to events at the MCG via public transport.
