More public transport services, more often
The Victorian Government will provide more than 28,000 additional train, tram and bus services for the Games.

No public parking at Games venues
To ensure the smooth and safe operations in and around venues, spectators will need to leave the car at home and take public transport.

All venues will be accessible by public transport
Where the venue is not within walking distance of a public transport point, a spectator shuttle bus service will operate between a designated train station and the venue.

Free public transport to Games ticket holders
Free travel on Melbourne's trains, trams and buses on the date shown on Games tickets. This will help reduce congestion in Melbourne, around venues and in local neighbourhoods surrounding Games locations.

Additional regional services
There will also be additional regional services and a special offer for Games ticket holders. Spectators can travel on V/Line services for a $10 return fare anywhere in the State on the day of their Games event and upon presentation of a valid Games ticket.

Accessible transport
Arrangements will be in place for people with access needs including shuttles buses to major Games venues.

Exclusive Games Lanes
To ensure athletes and officials arrive promptly at Games events.

Remember to plan your journey ahead of time. There will be large crowds in Melbourne so be patient, allow extra time
